FWSI is working with the City and private developers to maximize on-street parking and to create walkable tree-lined streets throughout the Near Southside.
S. Adams Street provided an opportunity for us to work with the City to retrofit a street in conjunction with a planned resurfacing project in order to provide parallel parking that will serve existing and future development. The project was completed summer 2010.
