The most exciting South Main project in years is the renovation of the Sawyer Grocery buildings by Eddie Vanston and VKR Construction. The project includes 14 second-floor apartments above ground floor retail and office space.
As with most of Eddie's restoration projects, the Sawyer project has taken advantage of available economic incentives, including federal historic and "new market" tax credits.
